How this website handles the information you send us.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us through our Get Support, Refer Someone and Contact forms, or by phone or email. This may include names, contact details, preferred language, accessibility needs, and a description of what help is needed.
We ask you not to include diagnoses or detailed health information in website forms. You can share more directly with a navigator if and when it is needed.
Why we collect it
To respond to your request, provide navigation support, and follow up on referrals you have agreed to. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
How it is sent and stored
Forms are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to our website, which passes the submission to Web3Forms, a form-delivery service, which emails it to the inbox our navigators monitor. Web3Forms also keeps a copy in our account there, set to delete submissions automatically after three years. The other copy is the email in our own inbox.
Because of this, please send only what is needed to start. You do not need to include diagnoses or detailed health information in a website form. If you would rather not use the form at all, call (403) 714-0739.
Cost
Our navigation support is free. We never ask for payment details through this website.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics.
Referrals
Professionals who refer someone must confirm that the person has consented to the referral and to being contacted by BFF. Outcomes are followed up only with consent.
